A global cyber security firm wanted to launch an employee engagement initiative to empower employees to deliver change. The company had recently appointed a new CEO and he and the Leadership team wished to develop a way in which to capture ideas to improve the company from the ground up. The initiative was to provide a way to support employees in capturing and then delivering their ideas for change, based on the ethos that they are best placed to identify where improvements can be made to the day to day processes they use.
Kwatee was engaged to support the development and roll out of enabling infrastructure, in terms of people, process and tools. We worked with stakeholders at all levels of the business to develop the roles and responsibilities required to make the programme a success and supported the recruitment of individuals into these roles. We also wrote a detailed communication strategy and plan for launching and running the programme and produced a system design for the idea and benefit tracker.
Following successful launch we then continued to mentor the Programme Lead and deliver enhancements to the infrastructure to help develop and improve the programme structure. We also delivered a series of interactive workshops to help upskill the volunteer change agents.

Having in place a robust infrastructure meant that the programme could be launched at short notice and start gaining traction from day 1. The time spent with the change agents not only helped them support their colleagues to capture and deliver their ideas for change, but also to develop broader communication and engagement skills.
